What are Orthodontics
Orthodontic treatment is crucial in realigning and correcting the look of your smile. It is just as beneficial for adults as it is for pediatric patients. It’s never too late to have orthodontic treatment started. Whether your teeth are crooked, crowded, spaced or you have an under or overbite, we can provide the treatment that is needed.
Why would Orthodontics be needed?
You may want orthodontic treatment because you’re unhappy with the way your smile looks. Your teeth might be crooked or severely overcrowded to the point it’s getting in the way of properly brushing and flossing your teeth. You might have an under or overbite that causes your chin to protrude or to appear sunken-in. We provide treatment for both adults and children who need to undergo orthodontics.
I went for my routine checkup and cleaning. Dr. Amee was very nice, gentle and through. I also had my kids seen by orthodontist for braces. Love this practice. Highly recommended.

Who’s a candidate for Orthodontic treatment?
We will conduct an examination to determine if you’d benefit from orthodontic treatment. Most patients with crooked, crowded or unevenly spaced teeth can benefit from this specific type of treatment. Our mission is to provide you with a smile you can feel confident to show off. Treatment can take anywhere from six months to about two or three years depending on your unique needs.
What can you expect with treatment of Orthodontics?
To start the treatment process, we consult with you to determine what type of work is needed. X-rays and other special images give us an in-depth look of your teeth and any impactions underneath. We will then create a detailed treatment plan that is scheduled accordingly. In order for your orthodontic treatment to be effective and short-term, it’s critical that you make regular trips into the office for regular adjustments. If you’re in clear braces, you’ll need new aligners made throughout the course of your treatment. Orthodontic treatment is ideal for many different dental problems and can correct the look and feel of your smile.
If you think you might benefit from orthodontic treatment or have a child who needs braces, call us now and we will schedule an appointment for you to come in.
